I have always read the Bible, since I was taught how important it is in church. But often, it felt like a “chapter a day” slog. But recently, I have had a series of dreams that changed that. In one, the LORD told me to “store the Word (Bible) in my heart” because there would be a day when I would need it. And a few days ago, after a fairly tough day, I had another dream in which Jesus sat next to me and held me as He read from the Bible to me. He told me to strengthen myself in His word, that this is how I would be able to stand through anything. I cannot describe the love and comfort that flowed from Him as He read out verse after verse to me; but I decided to paint it.

I have also had several dreams when after teaching or revelation, Jesus would give me a piece of bread to strengthen me- and it was the Word, I heard the verses inside as I took the bread. I am starting to really realize the importance that God puts on not just reading but really thinking on more deeply, His Word, and have begun memorizing it.
These are times that seem uncertain for many, and with all my heart, I believe this message is for you, too. God has given us a sure “soul strengthener”: His promises, His word to us, which He wrote down for us because He loves us and wants us to receive the comfort in His Word.
Shalom

I love this so much! I added your picture to my photos so I could look at it often. I have had several dreams and one vision with a bible. Last night at church we were talking about manna, the bread of life, a prophet eating the scroll, communion. The word is the bread. There are no coincidences. Thank you for this post!
This is beautiful and encouraging. Thank you.
