Bunnykins in the Grass

This summer, I came across Bunnykins (the young rabbit that visits my feeder in the wintertime).

He was sitting in the grass by the side of the road, looking sleek and happy. I knew it was bunnykins due to his coloring, and the fact that he was not shy at all when I walked near, letting me take his portrait.

So, I decided to paint him in acrylics. I think he is beautiful, and hope you enjoy this too.

  1. Nice painting of the Bunnie, it looks a bit like the Eastern Cottontail in North America. I like how you captured the evening light on the grass, and the textureon the Rabbits fur.
